	On the day of the GRE test

			You should arrive at the test center at least 30 minutes before your scheduled test time.

			You will need to bring valid and acceptable identification, as well as your GRE confirmation email.

			You will not be allowed to bring any personal items into the testing room, so you will need to leave your phone, wallet, and other belongings in a secure location provided by the test center.

			You will be required to go through a security check, which may include having your fingerprints scanned, before you are allowed to enter the testing room.

			Once you are in the testing room, you will be given instructions on how to use the computer-based test.

			You will be given a short break between the Verbal and Quantitative sections of the test, and a longer break after the Quantitative section.

	If you are taking the GRE at home, the process will be slightly different than if you were taking it in-person at a test center.

			You will need to have a computer or other device with a webcam, microphone, and internet connection to take the test.

			You will also need to have a quiet, well-lit testing area where you can take the test without interruption.

			You will need to log in to your account and start the test at the designated time.

	<li>
		
			You will be monitored by a proctor, who will be able to see and hear you during the test, and you will need to show your ID to the proctor.
