	For Pakistani citizens, the MEXT Scholarship application is usually processed through the Embassy Recommendation Track. Here&#39;s a quick overview:</p>
<ul>
	<li>
		<strong>Check the Embassy Website:</strong> Always start by going to the official Japanese Embassy in Pakistan website to get the most up-to-date guidelines, forms, and dates.</li>
	<li>
		<strong>Download and Complete Forms:</strong> Obtain all required application documents (application form, research plan, health certificate, etc.) and complete them correctly, preferably by typing.</li>
	<li>
		<strong>Gather documents:</strong> Make authenticated copies of your academic transcripts and degrees, recommendation letters, passport copy, pictures, health certificate, CV (for graduate students), and language competency proof, if available.</li>
	<li>
		<strong>Application Submission:</strong> Submit your complete, unstapled application packet (with paper clips) to the Japanese Embassy in Islamabad or Consulate General in Karachi before the deadline. DO NOT send to MEXT directly.</li>
	<li>
		<strong>Screening:</strong> Shortlisted candidates are subjected to a written exam (Japanese, English, and other relevant topics) followed by an interview in the Embassy or Consulate.<br />
		University Placement &amp; Second Screening: If you passed the initial screening, the Embassy recommends you to MEXT. You may also need to obtain an Acceptance Letter from a Japanese University.</li>
