	1. Can I apply for a PhD through Australia Awards Scholarships?&nbsp; 

	If you&#39;re from Pakistan, Australia Awards Scholarships mainly cover Master&#39;s degrees. PhD scholarships aren&rsquo;t usually available through this program for you.

	2. Do I need to apply for university admission separately?&nbsp; 

	Nope. You just need to pick your preferred schools on the Application Form. If you get the scholarship, DFAT will handle the admission for you.

	3. Is work experience mandatory?&nbsp; 

	Yes, you need at least five years of relevant work experience. Internships or house jobs don&rsquo;t count for this.

	4. Can I submit my English language test results after the application deadline?&nbsp; 

	No. Your English test results (IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE Academic) must be valid and sent with your application by the deadline.

	5. What if I get a provisional degree before the application deadline?&nbsp; 

	Provisional degrees are usually not accepted. DFAT wants final transcripts and degrees from recognized institutions.

	6. What are the obligations after completing the scholarship?&nbsp; 

	If you receive the scholarship, you need to go back to Pakistan for at least two years after your studies. If you don&rsquo;t, you&rsquo;ll have to pay back the scholarship costs.

	7. Can I defer my scholarship if selected?&nbsp; 

	Generally, deferrals aren&rsquo;t allowed. But in special cases (like pregnancy or visa delays), DFAT might consider it for up to 6 months, if you provide the right documents.
