The Charles Wallace Pakistan Trust (CWPT) is known as a United Kingdom Charity (No. 283337) program which was establish in 1981. At the time of beginning the trust was originally directed by British Council but now, in these days, it is running as an independent program or department. However, British Council is now supporting the department or program through various methods in the United Kingdom and Pakistan. The Trust is working well and getting promotion day after day through its honorable and trusted team.

	Programs Offered By the Charles Wallace Pakistan Trust (CWPT):</h2>

	The Charles Wallace Pakistan Trust (CWPT) is supporting the Pakistani candidates who go to United Kingdom for their professional development. CWPT offers those professionals to take part in the different programs and these programs are fully funded through CWPT. Following are the programs that are offered by CWPT:

	Note: All candidates are to be informed that there is no faculty for Bachelors or Masters Study program.

	The CWPT also makes it sure that it is going to give then equal opportunities in all the activities offered by CWPT.

	Doctoral Bursaries </h2>

	Doctoral Bursaries award offers by the CWPT to the Pakistani candidates. This award is based on yearly time and following are the requirements or eligibilities to earn this fund program by The Charles Wallace Pakistan Trust (CWPT) Program:

	Eligibility Criteria:</h2>
<ul>
	<li style="text-align: justify;">
		
			Candidates who are already in UK and to those who are going to pursue their final year in the UK are allowed to apply.
	</li>
	<li style="text-align: justify;">
		
			Applicants who need additional funding to fulfill their study requirements at PhD level are also welcome to apply for this program.
	</li>
	<li style="text-align: justify;">
		
			At the time of applying applicants are asked to show their academic excellence as well as their financial status (which shows they are needed).
	</li>
	<li style="text-align: justify;">
		
			Applicants are asked to apply for the following mentioned disciplines or subjects.
	</li>
	<li style="text-align: justify;">
		
			The humanities, arts, and creative industries
	</li>
	<li style="text-align: justify;">
		
			The social sciences and social development
	</li>
	<li style="text-align: justify;">
		
			The life sciences including medicine.
	</li>

			Applicants other than these disciplines or subjects will not be entertained.

<h2 style="text-align: justify;">
	Doctoral Bursaries Award:</h2>

	Applicants are allowed to get an award of the amount £1,000. Applicants who will not be able to fulfill their need or requirement will be asked to manage the funds from other sources.

	Required Documents:</h2>

	Applicants must show the following mentioned required documents at the time of application submission:

			Applicants must attach a supporting letter to the application form.

			Applicants are also asked to submit their testifying with applicant’s life background achievements.

			A short detailed CV is also necessary to submit which is not more than 2 pages.

	How to Apply:   </h2>

	Applicants will go through the following methods to apply for this fund program:

			Applicants will submit their dully filled application form directly to the Secretary through an email address which is mentioned in the contact details.

			Applicants should apply for maximum 15 months of duration
	</li>
	<li style="text-align: justify;">
		
			There are two dates announced annually and the applicants are must allowed to apply within these deadlines.

			Incomplete applications and applications after due date will not be entertained 
	</li>

	Applications Deadlines </h2>

	The two annual deadlines are announce by the Trust i.e. first week of May and first week of November. Applicants are strictly asked to apply before the deadlines.

	Reserved Visiting Fellowships</h2>

	Reverse Visiting Fellowship is also based on the grants and funds offered by The Charles Wallace Pakistan Trust (CWPT)’s UK partners. Partner can be an institute or University. There are several partners are listed below. Due to this fund program the Pakistani academic and professionals are allowed to get short working visit to the UK by which they can broadening their knowledge, skills and contacts.

	Reserved Visiting Fellowships Award:</h2>

	By the following ways the applicants will be awarded through this funding program:

			Applicants will be awarded with an amount of £1,300 monthly.
	</li>
	<li style="text-align: justify;">
		
			Applicants are also awarded with the air fares and UK Visa Costs.
	</li>

			There will not be any other additional charges allotted to the candidates for fulfilling their further needs and requirements.

	Applicants will be asked to demonstrate the following documents at the time to apply the application form.

	Application Deadlines:</h2>

	Every partner institute announces its specific deadline for fellowship every year. Applicants can get the detail about deadline from their selected partner institute.

	Open Visiting Fellowship:</h2>

	It is also a funding program which is based on the partnership between the Charles Wallace Pakistan trust in UK and British Council in Pakistan. Due to this program Pakistani candidates get permission to visit in the UK due to which they can broaden their proficient skill, knowledge and contacts.

	Eligibility Criteria:</h2>

	Following are the requirements or eligibilities to earn this fund program by The Charles Wallace Pakistan Trust (CWPT) Program:

			Applicants must be the citizen of Pakistan
	</li>
	<li style="text-align: justify;">
		
			Applicants currently must be residing in the Pakistan. 
	</li>
	<li style="text-align: justify;">
		
			Applicants must under the age of 30 to 5o years
	</li>
	<li style="text-align: justify;">
		
			Applicants must show an invitation letter from UK Institute which is collaborate with CWPT.
	</li>
	<li style="text-align: justify;">
		
			Applicants must apply for the subjects that are announced or mentioned by the Institute. Otherwise applicants will not be entertain.

	</li>

			Applicants who never traveled before for study or working purposes will have the obsolete chance to get success in their application.

	Open Visiting Fellowship Award:</h2>

			There are up to 12 fellowships awarded annually.

	Visiting Artists</h2>

	Artists professionals are entertain to visit into the UK for training and familiarization purposes through this program. This visit will be granted through the relationship with the institutes. Following is the description to meet or to earn this award through CWPT.

	Eligibility Criteria: </h2>

	Applicants who will show the following eligibilities will be entertain with this award:

			Applicants must be Pakistani citizen.
	</li>
	<li style="text-align: justify;">
		
			Applicants currently living/residing in the Pakistan.
	</li>
	<li style="text-align: justify;">
		
			Applicants will be asked to demonstrate academic excellence as well as their financial status at the time of applying applicants
	</li>
	<li style="text-align: justify;">
		
			Applicants are asked to apply for the following mentioned disciplines or subjects.
	</li>
	<li style="text-align: justify;">
		
			Visual arts,
	</li>
	<li style="text-align: justify;">
		
			Creative industries
	</li>
	<li style="text-align: justify;">
		
			Applicants other than these disciplines or subjects will not be entertained.

			Applicants submitting their application after due date will not be entertain.

	Visiting Artists Award:</h2>

			£1,300 will be awarded to the candidates annually.

	There exists a relationship of CEPT with two UK Institutes. These Institutes offer fellowship or funded program annually to the Pakistani candidates.

This institute has relation with the National College of Arts (NCA) in Lahore. 		<a href="http://www.gasworks.org.uk">Gasworks</a>, the arts Centre from London is the 2nd one which shows the relationship of this funded category. Gasworks is linked to the <a href="http://www.trianglearts.org">Triangle Arts Trust </a>, which is an international system of arts professionals and arts organizations, which has the relation with VASL (www.vaslart.org) in Pakistan is an active member. 		Applicants can also submit their application as “individual application”. For this purpose applicants will make their own agreement with the host institute from UK and send their application direct to the Secretary.       </li>
