&nbsp;Leicester has been ranked the 15th best university in the UK for the third consecutive year in the 2011 Times Good University Guide. Leicester&nbsp;is the highest ranking university in the East Midlands region.

Most notably Leicester was ranked 6th for Engineering and 7th for Geology.
