<p> Stanford University is located in <strong>Stanford, California, United States of America</strong>. It is ranked <strong>Second Best</strong> higher <img alt="" src="/ckfinder/userfiles/images/stanford.jpg" style="width: 230px; height: 173px; float: right; margin: 5px;" />educational institute of its country and the world to study in 2018 by QS Ranking. It also holds the title of <strong>largest university campus in the world </strong>and whole of it maintained beautifully. It is one of the <strong>world’s leading universities</strong> and has always proved itself second to none. It is an elite educational institute ranked among Oxford, Harvard, MIT and Cambridge. Stanford was established in 1885, however, it came to <strong>function in 1991</strong>.</p> <p> A wide range of courses are offered that covers almost every single program, course and subject in the world. Let’s see a brief review of Stanford and why you should study here. There are currently <strong>7,039 undergraduate</strong> and <strong>9,304</strong> postgraduate students enrolled in Stanford. They have a <strong>staff student ratio of 1:4</strong> which means there is 1 teacher to attend only about 4 students.</p> <hr /> <h2> <span style="color:#ff8c00;"><span style="font-size:24px;"><strong>Achievements of Stanford</strong></span></span></h2> <p> Stanford is the most successful institute in creating many multinational companies. Of many companies and organizations founded by Stanford alumni some of the most renowned are <em>Google, Snapchat, Hewlett-Packard, Instagram, Nike, LinkedIn, </em>and<em> Yahoo</em>. According to Wikipedia, these companies generate an annual revenue of<strong> 2.1 Trillion USD</strong> which is equivalent to 10<sup>th</sup> biggest economy of the world. Stanford has won many Nobel prizes. <strong>19 Nobel laureates</strong> are currently members of the Stanford community.</p> <p> 1. Biological Synthesis of Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA)</p> <p> 2. First Transgenic Organism</p> <p> 3. Klystron Tube</p> <p> 4. Frequency Modulation Synthesis</p> <p> 5. Nuclear Magnetic Resonance</p> <p> All are achievements of Stanford alumni or faculty. For most of these work, Nobel prize were awarded which shows the significance of their innovations. There are over <strong>6,000 externally sponsored projects</strong> in Stanford with a total <strong>budget of $1.6 billion</strong>.</p> <hr /> <h2> <span style="color:#ff8c00;"><span style="font-size:24px;"><strong>Stanford Campus</strong></span></span></h2> <p> <img alt="" src="/ckfinder/userfiles/images/2%20Stanford%20University.png" style="width: 640px; height: 256px; margin: 10px 5px;" /></p> <p> Stanford has the largest university campus in the world. It comprises <strong>over 33.10 square kilometers</strong>. There are about <strong>700 major buildings</strong> in this campus. Despite its size, whole campus is beautifully decorated with trees, flowers and astonishingly established buildings. Because of its size, beauty and facilities, <strong>97% of undergraduate</strong> students live on campus. Their students dormitories are also among world’s most famous and elite. This campus is so huge and green, there are forest and lakes inside it and even a golf course. Wildlife biologist use Stanford for research.</p> <p> Stanford also a has a huge stadium of its own for sports festivals. All Halls of Residence for both students and faculty are located inside the campus. Living in such campus must be quite fun. Many fountains, memorials and landmarks can be found inside this campus which include <strong>Lou Henry Hoover House, Hoover Tower, The Dish, Golden Spike, Stanford Memorial Church </strong>and<strong> White Memorial Fountain</strong>.</p> <hr /> <h2> <span style="color:#ff8c00;"><span style="font-size:24px;"><strong>Stanford Most Successful Alumni</strong></span></span></h2> <p> Most of the Stanford alumni are reported to be very successful in their careers.
