Description
<div> </div> <div> We are all very well aware that Pakistan is far behind the world in the field of education and it has always been like that. Pakistani lacks in quality education, technologies and research. I have always hoped that one day Pakistan will come out of this failure and it will show the world what is education and how it is spread. Unfortunately, it never happened and I don’t it plans to do so for a very long time because even this year Pakistan was ranked 50th out of a total of 50 countries in higher education.</div> <div> </div> <div> It will not be unfair to criticize and scrutinize it and reasons behind it. We all know that higher education system is chiefly dependent on universities and they are mainly run by teachers. Conclusively if teachers are good means the higher education system is good and if teachers lack quality it means the whole higher education system lacks quality. In this article I have come up with the idea of points where our teachers in foreign universities beat our professors. Being myself a student, I have been researching on this topic for a while now and here I summarized this research in one article. Following are the main points and their logics about how teachers abroad are better than Pakistani teachers.</div> <div> </div> <div> <hr /> <div> </div> <div> <span style="color:#ff0000;"><span style="font-size:24px !important;"><strong>Better Communication Skills</strong></span></span></div> </div> <div> </div> <div> Communication skills are not just about impressing someone with your way of talk and personality. It means to read others gestures and respond accordingly in such a way that no confusions shall remain in one’s mind. The question is how foreigner teachers have better communication skills than our Pakistani teachers and is it always the case? I am not saying that all Pakistani teachers lack communication skills. There are teachers who have very good communication skills and are very cooperating.</div> <div> </div> <div> The thing is that most teachers abroad have very good communication skills and they always deliver lecture in a way that is easy to understand for all the students of different level and type of mentalities. Just because one is highly educated and possesses a great deal of knowledge means he can be a teacher and has the ability to deliver it professional manner. Pakistani teachers are not tested on this part of ability. Universities would just hire them based their degrees. On the other hand, it is always made sure that applicant for teaching has the qualities besides knowledge that are necessary for a teacher. If Pakistani teachers are also trained and tested this way then, may be, it can improve our quality of teaching.</div> <div> </div> <div> · <em><strong>See</strong>: </em><a href="http://studyabroad.pk/news-event/best-universities-of-world-latest-the-2017-ranking-4376"><em>World’s Best Top Ranked Universities, Latest THE 2017 Ranking</em></a></div> <div> </div> <div> <hr /> <div> </div> <div> <span style="color:#ff0000;"><span style="font-size:24px !important;"><strong>Aim to Educate:</strong></span></span></div> </div> <div> </div> <div> I am myself a teacher and whenever I asked any of my students that why they are studying their answer was very disappointing. They are studying so they can find a good job to earn money when they grow up. It is not like that with just kids but the same with the seniors and even professional teachers. Pakistani teachers have only one target and that is to prepare students for the exams. If the student will have a better GPA, he will have a better value in professional life. This aim is not what it should be.</div> <div> </div> <div> Unlike Pakistani teachers, teachers in abroad universities have better and legit aim. That is to educate students and make them as skilled as possible. Whereas we are only focusing all our energy where our teacher points it and that is to score marks and become a good servant in professional life.</div> <div> </div> <div> <hr /> <div> </div> <div> <span style="color:#ff0000;"><span style="font-size:24px !important;"><strong>Not Limited to Syllabus:</strong></span></span></div> </div> <div> </div> <div> Syllabus in Pakistani universities is specified the Higher Education Department of Pakistan. All universities are bound to teach within those limits. World and education system is evolving very fast. Every day there are new discoveries and inventions. So, the syllabus should be a little loose on these limits. Most Pakistani teachers also just follow the excuse and keep teaching the same things over and over again as it is easy.</div> <div> </div> <div> Teachers in abroad universities are not bounded like this. They teach and share all the latest trends and everything that they deem should be necessary to teach. Their purpose is to give students the ability to think critically and innovatively rather than just rotting the whole books with the goal to score a good percentage of grades.</div> <div> </div> <div> <div> · <strong><em>See</em></strong><em>: <a href="https://studyabroad.pk/news-event/is-it-difficult-to-study-in-non-english-countries-here-is-how-to-manage-there-4563" target="_blank"><span style="color:#0000ff;">Is it Difficult to Study in Non-English Countries</span></a></em></div> </div> <div> </div> <div> <hr /> <div> </div> <div> <span style="color:#ff0000;"><span style="font-size:24px !important;"><strong>They are Always Improving:</strong></span></span></div> </div> <div> </div> <div> If you ever read the profiles of teachers of good foreign universities, you will find that they are not just teaching. They are also researching and have many publication and discoveries and inventions. They are not bound to the past knowledge but they are expanding it more and more in their respective fields of education. If they are in the field of medical, you will find they are most probably also a surgeon or doctor in some well-known facility. If they are Historians, they will have many of their own discoveries and theories of history published and accepted and this is the case with all the fields. Since these teachers are improving more and more, they have very strong knowledge and concepts. They are themselves innovative so they know how and where to guide their students.</div> <div> </div> <div> As far as I have observed our Pakistani teachers, they do have good degrees and very strong concepts of past knowledge but they are not really moving forward in their fields as they have different concerns in life. Most of these teachers are mostly concerned to earn to money. They have either joined politics or business sections. In usual public universities teachers can be found to mostly work on their positions and federations. In addition, others are mostly engaged in some sort of business work. The point is that they should be improving themselves in their own fields. They know a lot but not everything. They should become a role model for their students instead using them as a source of income and power. Students are taught a syllabus about fifty years old in a fifty years old manner. How can students become a leader or have a better goal if even their teachers are not on the right track.</div> <div> <div> <div> <div> </div> <div> <div> <hr /> </div> <div> <div> </div> <div> <div> <img alt="" src="/ckfinder/userfiles/images/Updated%20Writer%27s%20Introduction.jpg" style="width: 570px; height: 105px; margin-top: 10px; margin-bottom: 10px;" /></div> <div> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <hr /> <p> </p> </div> <div> <div> <span style="font-size: 14px;"><strong><em>Go to our</em></strong> <a href="http://studyabroad.pk/news-event" target="_blank"><span style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"><strong><em>News and Events</em></strong></span></a><strong><em> for more Latest Informative and Interesting Articles</em></strong></span></div> <div> </div> <div> <span style="font-size: 14px;"><strong><em>Want to Study Abroad?
