Description

When I was planning to go abroad, only thing I searched about was tuition fees of different universities and how I can get scholarship. But that is not all to quest. When we think about going to abroad, the biggest obstacle we have to have face is financial. Most of us don’t really enough money that we can spend openly in foreign country. So, we have to carefully plan everything and every paisa we are going spend in a foreign country.

So, now if you have got admission in an abroad university, and you know you can somehow manage its fees. But just with that can you survive? Nope! Absolutely not. They are many other expenses and costs hidden from us, like when you subscribe a package in Zong. Apparently t is 20 rupees but actually it is 30. I have researched and gathered all possible hidden financial evils that will be expecting you when you will go abroad.

Transportation:

You think transportation is no big deal. Well, you are mistaken. Biggest transportation cost that we ignore are flights to home. You may be going there for 2 or 4 years. But it is not like you will spend incessant years there. You will have to and you will come back home to Pakistan for some events and occasions like, Eid-ul-Fitar, Eid-ul-Azha, Vacations and some other expected happy and grieve moments. You know the cost of international flights.

Other than this, It is not like you are going to a jail will always be closed in just you university and an in-campus dorm. There are chances you might not get in-campus dorm and have to rent a private residence or flat. Then you will have to come on bus or some other transportation to university.

You will also have to go out of university for some other work or plans. If you are going to do a part time then you will definitely need local transportation and by the way, it is not free.

· [Read Article How France Facilitates International Students]

Living Expenses:

You must have an idea of living expenses. But, what sort of living expenses do you have in your mind. You must have thought Rent and Food but is that really it? Nope this game doesn’t end here.

What rent do you have in your mind? University Dorm are a little cheaper. But what if you don’t’ a dorm. You will have to rent a place of your own. And do know, a great number of students have to rent a place of their own. Off-campus residence can be more than a little costly. And the effort to find a place will most probably also make you spend your precious money.

Residence aside, what are you planning to eat there? You will not always be eating is your hostel or flat. You and your social group will often make plans to go out to eat. Restaurants abroad are very expensive unlike our restaurants that are cheaper than fast food. Cheapest you would find abroad is fast food but you cannot always rely on them and when you realize it, it is going to be difficult for you. Here is a tip for you, try to cook food yourself, it will save you a fortune.

Another expense you will be facing is Clothing. Have you thought about it? You will need clothing according to the climate and fashion of the country you are going in. If it is cold, I feel sorry for you, you know the prices of winter clothes. If you don’t, you might want to search it on internet. Some of our own Pakistani clothes will work there, but you will need shopping! So, be prepared for it.

· [Here are some Best Tips on How to Find a Place to Live Abroad]

Books and Stationary:

This one might not be as expensive as others. But, it will give you a shock when you will find there rates. The books we buy here in Pakistan, are actually mostly pirated. Pirated means they are cheap copy of original. And not all books are available on internet in soft copy.

You have the facility of great libraries there. Libraries there are more common than they are in Pakistan. But, just once, make mistake of returning a book late, believe me you will never ever do it again in your life, no matter where you are. Late returning of book can actually cost you more than the original price of the book.

· [Article Funny Weird Facts about Oxford University]

Exchange Rate and Loans:

You must already know the value of Rupee, the Pakistani Currency. It is very cheap when compared to international level. American dollar is considered international currency and when compared to it, 1 dollar equals 104.80 rupees at the time of writing this article. Almost all currencies, especially in developed countries, where you will be going for education, are stronger than Rupee.

This sudden change between rupees to other currency also gives you quite a shock.
