The Yale Emerging Climate Leaders Fellowship 2026 is currently accepting applications! This distinguished and fully supported fellowship from the Yale Jackson School of Global Affairs provides a transformative opportunity for individuals working at forefront of climate and energy transformations.</p>
<h2>
	Program Overview</h2>
<p>
	The Yale Emerging Climate Leaders Fellowship is a five-month hybrid program that provides opportunities for early to mid-career individuals working in the climate and clean energy sectors. The participants will engage in:</p>
<ul>
	<li>
		Two intensive, <strong>in-person residencies</strong>:
		<ul>
			<li>
				Opening Week at Yale University (February 16&ndash;20, 2026)</li>
			<li>
				Closing Week in Paris (June 15-19, 2026).</li>
		</ul>
	</li>
	<li>
		Virtual &quot;<strong>Learning Journeys</strong>&quot; are held every two weeks in between residency.</li>
	<li>
		Capstone projects that are team-based and address real-world climate concerns.</li>
	<li>
		Working with leading climate experts from Yale, the IEA, the OECD, and more.</li>

	Eligibility Criteria</h2>
<p>
	To apply, prospects should:</p>
<ul>
	<li>
		Become a citizen and resident of a Global South country.</li>
	<li>
		Have 5-10 years of relevant professional experience in the climate, energy, or environmental sectors.</li>
	<li>
		Show strong leadership and commitment to climate action.</li>
	<li>
		Be proficient in English, both verbal and written.</li>
</ul>
<p>
	<strong>Sectors covered:</strong> government, civic society, business, media, university, finance, and more.</p>

	Fellowship Benefits</h2>
