	Eligibility Criteria of Scholarship</h3>
<ul>

			The candidate should not exceed the age of 35 years as of September 1, 2025.</div>
	</li>
	<li>
		<div>
			Be a citizen of a non-EU/EEA country, Switzerland or Surinam and fulfill all requirements for obtaining an entry visa and residence in the Netherlands.</div>

	<li>
		<div>
			The student should not be a citizen with dual nationality of any EU/EEA country</div>
	</li>
	<li>
		<div>
			They must have applied and sought admission into Maastricht University &#39; participating master&#39;s programs&#39; full-time academic year 2025-2026.</div>

			In addition, applicants must meet the specific admission requirements of the relevant UM master&#39;s program which they are applying to.</div>
	</li>
	<li>
		<div>
			They should not have been enrolled previously in a degree-seeking higher education programme in the Netherlands. Applicants who have followed exchange programmes within the Netherlands are eligible to apply for the NL-High Potential Scholarship 2025 at Maastricht University.</div>

			Applicants should have outstanding academic performance in prior studies. The strongest possible grade transcript should reflect this, or preferably be supported by official documentation of outstanding academic achievement.</div>
