<p><strong>ISLAMABAD:</strong> National  University of Modern Languages (NUML) and The International Islamic University  Islamabad (IIUI) and have settled to set up a road map for joint cooperation in  the field of advance research and academic under which both the institutions  will not only sign MoUs in disciplines of mutual interest but also launch  educational projects to learn with experience of each other.</p>
<p>  It was settled in a meeting at NUML on Thursday  where President IIUI Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh while heading a ten member&rsquo;s  delegation called on Director General NUML (DG) Brig Azam Jamal. IIUI  delegation included Dean Faculty of Arabic Dr. Muhammad Bashir, Dean Faculty of  Language and Literature, Dr. Munawar Iqbal Gondal, Dean Faculty of Engineering  and Technology Dr. Aqdas Malik, Dean Faculty of Basic and Applied Sciences Dr.  Muhammad Sher, Dr. Bashir Khan, Director Academics Shagufta Haroon, Dean  Faculty of Management Sciences, Director Female Campus Dr. Zaitoon Begum and  other staff members of the university.</p>
<p>  During the meeting it was resolute to  practically launch road map within short period of time,&nbsp;two focal  persons, Dr. Ali Akbar from NUML and Dr. Munawar Iqbal Gondal from IIUI will be  in charge to supervise and manage about it. Both, the DG NUML and President  IIUI agreed upon the point that existing collaboration between the universities  in departments of Islamic Studies and Arabic would be comprehensive and  collaborations between different departments would also be started in near  future on priority basis.</p>
<p>  It was also decided in the meeting that a grand  MoU of mutual cooperation will be signed between both institutions soon, which  will cover all the features including exchange of students and teachers,  departmental joint ventures to organize seminars and workshops.</p>
