No doubt, because of the Covid-19 pandemic higher education students are affected worldwide. At the same time, the pandemic triggered others a lot of financial difficulties as a result of which most of the students had lost their occupations.

	The same challenges have been facing by the people from the most populated state in Germany, North-Rhine Westphalia. 	It is declared by the D&uuml;sseldorf Ministry of Science, almost seven arts and music colleges in collaboration with technical colleges and some other universities have arranged the funds for the affected students.

	State BAf&ouml;G, in addition to universities, is also working to offer financial assistance to the affected or deserving students. Aachen University of Applied Sciences, FH has also been offering support during a pandemic donation campaign. However, this support is continuing.

	The experts have declared that the lockdown enforced second time in the country would increase stress and anxiety among students because of the losses in jobs. At the initial stages of the pandemic or lockdown, the Cologne University Foundation provided 250 students the financial assistance or support. Each of them was granted an amount of &euro;800. However, due to the high demand of more than 800 applications, the second round of allocating funds was also organized.

	However, the cost of &euro;17 million was allocated for the students&rsquo; services in North-Rhine Westphalia. This cost has provided financial assistance to students between June and September.

	While taking a view on the current situation of the pandemic, Detlef Rujanski from the NRW Student Union declared that connecting funds will be needed again to support students. The spokesperson said that the Federal Ministry of Education readies to continue supporting students who are affected by the pandemic. Students will be provided support through emergency aid the first phase of which was expired in September. However, more initiatives and planning would be arranged to support and facilitate students to continue the higher education system in Germany. Over the year millions of international students get enrolled in German universities for several study programs. International students are contributing a lot to the education as well as the job sectors of Germany.
