Description

In the last month, the US Congress said that the civilian aid package of 25 million USD is approved for Pakistani students to strengthen democracy and to promote women’s rights in the South Asian Countries. This decision is a revival of the civilian aid package for Pakistani people. However, keep remembering that this aid package was stopped in January 2020 by US President Donald Trump. Trump had also stopped all the security assistance because of the non-cooperation in fights against terrorism.

Reason Behind Regularizing This Aid Program

Senator Lindsay Graham, one of the prime movers of this aid to Pakistan argues that to improve the lives of women in Pakistan this aid will play a significant role. However, legalization comprised of 5,500 pages is now heading to the White House for the signature of President Trump to add it into law. The aid will be comprised of 15 million USD for democracy studies and 10 million USD for gender studies in Pakistan.

While talking to Fox News Senator Graham justified that Pakistan is a place for which he is really worried. He said that in eighty-five countries a woman is not allowed to open her bank account without the signature of her husband. A woman can’t inherit property. He said that for a young woman it is quite difficult to spend life in Pakistan. So, he concluded that we are trying to offer a better lifestyle to women throughout the world.

Reactions Against This Program

Daughter in law of Donald Trump, Laura Trump stands against this provision. During her interview with Fox News, she expressed her anger against this provision. She said that I do not know how 10 million USD for gender studies in Pakistan and 700 million USD for Sudan would help Americans. She explained that this is so frustrating for people all around this country. The people are glad for 600 USD but they can get a lot more if we would not give money away.

Chip Ry, the Chairperson of Congressman also opposing this bill. He said that this bill throws billions of USD at foreign aid. Congressman Matt Gaetz said that in many democrat policies the bill is doubled down. The bill offers billions of dollars of special interest in perks. However, Americans are only getting a paltry payment of 600 USD. He further said that we have to keep American struggling workers on priority over all other foreign programs such as gender studies in Pakistan, anti-narcotics programs in Burma, and money for Ukraine. It was further remarked that Congress should open the economy in America before these foreign aid programs.

Study Applications For the USA In 2021

Every year thousands of students apply for study in the USA in different study programs. During Covid-19 the study applications were restricted and students who are thinking that what status is going on for study in the USA are recommended to send their query of study in the USA and they will be given the proper solution that to what extent they are eligible to apply for study.
