The Higher Education Commission, HEC is inviting scholarship applications to the Pakistani students who are interested to start their masters and Ph.D. <a href="https://www.studyabroad.pk/guides/study-in-china" target="_blank">study in China. </a>The scholarship program is offered by The Xi&rsquo;an Jiaotong University. The scholarship program is offered under different categories for the academic year of 2021/2022.

	&nbsp;
<h2>
	Who Is Eligible?</h2>

	Under the following categories the candidates will be considered for this scholarships program:
<ul>
	<li>
		
			Residents of Pakistan and AJ&amp;K nationals are eligible for this program. However, applicants with dual citizenship are not eligible.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Applicants having sound health are eligible.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Applicants who are going to apply for a master&rsquo;s degree must have a bachelor&#39;s degree equal to 16 years of education under 35 years of age.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Applicants who are going to apply for a doctoral degree must have a master&rsquo;s degree equal to 18 years of education under 40 years of age.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Applicants must not be availed of any other scholarship opportunity currently.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Applicants who are going to apply for a doctoral program must show any research works.
	</li>
</ul>

	What Study Programs Are Selected? </h2>

	This Chinese scholarships program is valid for the following study programs offered by the Xi&rsquo;an Jiaotong University:

			Mechanical Engineering
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Energy &amp; Power Engineering
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Electronics &amp; Information Engineering
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Material Science &amp; Engineering
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Electrical Engineering
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Management Studies
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Aerospace Engineering
	</li>
</ul>

<h2>
	What Documents Are Required?</h2>

	Only shortlisted candidates will be required to submit the below given supporting documents without which the application or selection process will not be accomplished:
<ul>
	<li>
		
			Copies of all the educational documents.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Attested copies of CNIC, B-form, IBCC equivalency certificate, HEC equivalency certificate in case of foreign degree.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			For a master program a study plan or research proposal of 800 words, however, for a doctoral program a study plan or research proposal of 1500 words is required to submit.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			A copy of the Physical Examination Record in English must be attached. The Physical Examination Record must cover all the basic items included in the Physical Examination Test such as basic blood test reports for foreign according to China&rsquo;s government policy.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			The forms having incomplete information and without the signature of the physician and stamp of the hospital will not be entertained.&nbsp;
	</li>
	<li>
		
			A Police Clearance Certificate is mandatory to submit.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Two original recommendations and reference letters are also required to submit.
	</li>
</ul>

	What Is The Application Process?</h2>

	Applicants are required to submit 03 application forms and they are offered the steps by following which they can apply a safe application:
<ul>
	<li>
		
			At the very beginning point, applicants will submit an online application at the official portal of HEC. Applicants are required to pay a 500 PKR registration fee. Applicants can deposit the fee to the HEC online Account No. 17427900133401 at Habib Bank Limited, Shalimar Recording Company Branch, H-9, Islamabad. The receipt of the paid fee must be uploaded to the HEC portal. Applicants are required to get a printed copy of the application and have to sign this printed copy.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			At the second step, applicants will submit an application to the CSS website. Applicants will go through program Type: B and Agency No. : 10698. Download the application form and retain an assigned copy with you.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			In the end, applicants will submit an application at the international student application system of Xi&#39;an Jiaotong University.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Applicants are required to submit all three applications, however, in the case of any application missing the candidates will not be entertained at all.&nbsp;&nbsp;
