Description

The whole world is getting affected from the pandemic Coronavirus in different ways on various levels including students who were planning on applying for completing their Master’s level degree through Australia Government Scholarship 2020 that was going to expire on 30th April 2020. All those students who are worried regarding that the Coronavirus will affect the scholarship are informed that Erasmus Student Network (ESN) Australia has initiated a survey so that they can get better comprehension of the situation in order to know the impact of Covid-19 on student mobility so that they can resolve the situation in a better way that the country and all students are facing right now.

Highlights of Impact of COVID-19 on Student Exchange in Europe

The survey mainly targets the keen focus for understanding the impact of the outbreak of coronavirus on student exchange in Europe. The students who want to study in Australia are given a chance to better elaborate the situation by filling the survey and further representation to European Commission. However, the survey includes mainly these key points as given below.

The students must have information regarding their mobility programme which can vary as Erasmus+ Student Mobility, Erasmus+ Traineeship, Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility, Swiss-European Mobility Programme and others.

The exchange period of students to measure the impact

The current situation of students like returning back or staying in the exchange destination or been stuck/unable to return/ been unable to start my exchange and furthermore

If the students have contracted with CoVid-19

Support offered to the students throughout the COVID-19 Quarantine period

Who offered you support throughout your quarantine i.e Family and/or friends, Home university, Host university, Workplace, Student organizations, local services etc.

Effect of the Coronavirus on your mobility like mobility period continued or cancelled etc.

Mobility Funding from the Australian Exchange Service

The students are informed that the mobility programmes will be funded like before the outbreak of virus and participants can attain the option of choosing to cancel their current stays or outgoing stay and if they are planning for any upcoming stay like after getting successful selection of the scholarship the students can choose and made their own decision by keeping in mind that the costs will not be reimbursed by travel cancellation insurance. For further information, the students can get guidance from Study Abroad Consultants for Australia to sort out a workable solution in such difficult situations.

Announcement From Australia’s Government

The Australian government has banned all the public gatherings and imposed restrictions on movement in public by urging the need to isolate people so that people can be kept safe from the outbreak of the virus. As for Australia as a study abroad destination for Pakistani students the educational activities are not banned and students are still allowed to participate in the scholarships and various study programs. Currently, all section events and services of the country are cancelled but the government has given a message to all exchange students that with solidarity and their support they will get through this situation.

Impact On the Universities in Australia

The European government has decided that all university campuses will remain closed for the students but they will have to continue with distance learning classrooms and the exams will be carried out along with research work projects. If you lack knowledge regarding the universities of Australia you can check the study in Australia guide for Pakistani students 2020 which will enlighten you with all the relevant details and information so that in such a situation you don’t have to get worried about searching details in order to continue your future academic path. However all the stakeholders will act on the current situation according to the student’s survey which will be open till 30th March 2020 for all students.
