&nbsp;THE GRADUATE BUSINESS SCHOOL AT GRIFFITH COLLEGE<o:p></o:p>
&nbsp;Students who enroll in the Graduate Business School at Griffith College Dublin will gain excellent internationally recognized qualifications and exposure to the Irish professional environment. Delivered in a staged format, students gain qualifications at various&nbsp; points on the programme. At any given point, students can exit the programme with a qualification or proceed with their studies to the final award of MBA in International Business Management.
&nbsp;The course is delivered in the following stages:
&nbsp;1. Professional Certificate in International Business Management<o:p></o:p>
&nbsp;The duration of this stage is one semester and is primarily for students who do not have a business related qualification. It is used as a bridging programme to provide students with an intensive introduction to International Business.
&nbsp;2. Graduate Diploma in International Business Management
&nbsp;This is the starting point of the Masters programme for all students. It consists of two taught semesters, providing students with a&nbsp; challenging and rewarding academic experience.
&nbsp;3. M.Sc. in International Business Management<o:p></o:p>
&nbsp;Upon completion of the Graduate Diploma in International Business&nbsp; Management, the student progresses to the M.Sc. in International&nbsp; Business Management. This stage consists of a one semester research&nbsp; dissertation There are no formal taught classes during this stage. The combined&nbsp; duration of the Graduate Diploma and M.Sc. in International Business Management is just one year for students who start the programme in&nbsp; September.<o:p></o:p>
&nbsp;4. MBA in International Business
The MBA in Griffith College is awarded in one of two ways:
&nbsp;a) Students who have requisite work experience are exempt from the&nbsp;&nbsp;M.Sc. in International Business Management and may directly enter the&nbsp;MBA stage following the Graduate Diploma stage. Student must complete&nbsp;two management reports based on their work experience.
<o:p>&nbsp;</o:p>
<o:p></o:p>&nbsp;b) If students do not have the requisite work experience and&nbsp;&nbsp;successfully complete the M.Sc. in International Business Management,&nbsp;they are eligible to gain this work experience in Ireland. Griffith&nbsp;&nbsp;College has an agreement in place with Irish immigration authorities that provide graduates of the M.Sc. in International Business&nbsp;&nbsp;Management access to employment for one year as part of the MBA&nbsp;programme.
&nbsp;When a student completes the M.Sc. in International Business&nbsp; Management, Griffith College supports the student in finding a Job within the Irish economy should the student wish to avail of this option. To qualify for this one year working visa, students must secure employment which is relevant to their course of study. Students then&nbsp; present the details of the position, along with a letter from&nbsp; Griffith College to the immigration office. Assuming the student has been offered a position that is relevant to their course of study and provides a salary befitting the position, the student will receive an additional one year student visa.
&nbsp;This is not to be confused with the Graduate Employment Scheme which students can enter into once they complete their final qualification at Griffith College Dublin.<o:p></o:p>
&nbsp;While completing this one year of professional work experience, students must complete a number of projects. In doing so, this enables students to earn the MBA in International Business through experiential learning.

THE GRADUATE EMPLOYMENT SCHEME<o:p></o:p>
The Graduate Employment Scheme is a Government of Ireland scheme to&nbsp; encourage skilled graduates to remain in Ireland and take up suitable&nbsp; positions to enhance the Irish Economy.
This scheme is eligible to all Griffith College graduates who complete a bachelor (hons. )level qualification or above and it works as follows:
a) Upon receipt of their final results students present their results to the immigration office where a one year visa will be granted. With&nbsp;this visa students can remain in Ireland for one year and have full&nbsp;&nbsp;access to employment. The main purpose of the visa is to provide the&nbsp;student with an opportunity to find employment.
<o:p>&nbsp;</o:p>
&nbsp;b) Once the student finds suitable employment in a skilled sector,&nbsp;&nbsp;listed on the Department of Enterprise, Trade &amp; Employments website, 
&nbsp;www.entemp.ie &lt;http://www.entemp.ie/&gt; , the student will then receive&nbsp;a two year working visa.
<o:p>&nbsp;</o:p>
&nbsp;In order to receive this working visa, the student must satisfy two criteria:
&nbsp;1) The student must be receiving a salary in excess of 30,000&nbsp;Euros per year.
&nbsp;2) The student must be awarded a two year contract for the position.
