Description

The higher education commission of Pakistan has initiated the placement for unemployed PhD holder for the upliftment of Pakistani Universities.

	The program was in place beforehand but was at halt due to change of policy, now the implementation of the same id in full swing. The phase 2 of the placement policy is under process.

	The Pakistani students who have completed their PhD in Pakistan or have studied abroad can apply for this placement option in Pakistan.

	Eligibility criteria:</h2>
<ul>
	<li>
		
			Age criteria: The Pakistani student must be 40 or below at the time of application.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Citizenship criteria: The Pakistani student must be a citizen of Pakistan or Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Employment criteria: The Pakistani student must not be employed with a full time job, contractual job possessors can apply.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Education criteria: The Pakistani study must have a PhD from a university in Pakistan or Higher education commission recognized foreign university.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Research work criteria: The Pakistani PhD holder must have at least published two research papers in HEC recognized journals.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Completion date criteria: The Pakistan student must have completed their degree in the past two years.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Certification criteria: The Pakistani student must be a bearer of a degree that has been attested by the Higher education commission itself.

	Benefits: </h2>
<ul>
	<li>
		
			The Pakistani PhD holder will be employed to mentor research work Pakistani higher education institutes and universities. The employee will be asked to take full responsibility of the research work in the allotted university.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			The Pakistani PhD holder will become interim placement of fresh PhD holder&rsquo;s member.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			The Pakistani student will be awarded with a training at the national academy of higher education commission.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			The PhD holder will be provided with a grant for startup research and will be given during the training program.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Higher education commission will provide with the opportunity of placement but initial placement is responsibility of the student.

	Application procedure:</h2>
<ul>
	<li>
		
			The Pakistani student must visit the <a href="https://eportal.hec.gov.pk/hec-portal-web/auth/login.jsf" target="_blank">online portal for IPFP</a>.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			The PhD holder must submit all the documents online.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			The application that are submitted on the portal will only be considered.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Application fee of 500 Pkr must be submitted at Habib bank ltd in Account number: 1742-79001334-01.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			All the documents and form are required to be submitted by post and online.
	</li>
