	The University of Bonn will start accepting applications for the Bonn International Fellowships 2026 in May 2025. This program is fully funded and gives international researchers a chance to connect with the academic community in Bonn for short visits.</p>

	About the Bonn International Fellowships</h2>
<p>
	The Bonn International Fellowships are intended to bring outstanding researchers from many fields to the University of Bonn for brief visits of up to 12 days. The program&#39;s goal is to encourage international collaboration, enrich academic life at the university, and establish the framework for future joint projects.</p>

	Fellowship Benefits</h2>
<p>
	The selected fellows will get comprehensive support, including:</p>
<ul>
	<li>
		<strong>Travel Allowance</strong>: Covers round-trip travel expenditures, which vary by place of origin.</li>
	<li>
		<strong>Daily stipend</strong>: &euro;160 each day for up to 12 days, including arrival and departure dates.</li>
	<li>
		<strong>Event Support:</strong> Up to &euro;500 for organizing academic events such as lectures or workshops during your stay.</li>
</ul>

	Eligibility Criteria</h2>
<p>
	To qualify for the fellowship, you need to:</p>
<ul>
	<li>
		Be a post-doc or an experienced professor known in your field.</li>
	<li>
		Be connected to a university or research institute that&rsquo;s not in Germany.</li>
	<li>
		Receive an invitation from a researcher at the University of Bonn.</li>
</ul>
