	Eligibility Criteria</h2>
<p>
	To apply, you need to:</p>
<ul>
	<li>
		Work as a researcher at a recognized institution outside the U.S., or be an independent researcher or artist with a strong portfolio.</li>
	<li>
		Have your study connected with disciplines at the University of Iowa.</li>
	<li>
		Show English proficiency (by TOEFL, IELTS, academic records, or video interview)</li>
	<li>
		Plan a fellowship term ranging from two weeks to a complete academic semester, such as spring 2026 (January 20-May 8, 2026).</li>

	Fellowship Benefits</h2>
<p>
	Fellows chosen for this program will get:</p>
<ul>
	<li>
		$2,000 stipend to cover travel and accommodation expenses.</li>
	<li>
		Health insurance from the University of Iowa for the time they&rsquo;re in the fellowship.&nbsp;</li>
	<li>
		Office space at the Obermann Center for Advanced Studies.&nbsp;</li>
	<li>
		A temporary affiliation with the University of Iowa, which includes access to library resources and online journals.&nbsp;</li>
	<li>
		Chances to participate in seminars, lectures, and meet University of Iowa researchers.&nbsp;</li>
	<li>
		An official invitation letter for visa and institutional use.&nbsp;</li>
