		Applicants can&#39;t have received research funding of &pound;5,000 or more in their own name before.&nbsp;</li>

		The applicant should be open to doing their research with supervision.&nbsp;</li>
	<li>
		Anyone from anywhere in the world can apply for this grant.&nbsp;</li>
	<li>
		The applicant should want to learn more about research methods and the field.&nbsp;</li>
	<li>
		The applicant should show they can produce data while being supervised.&nbsp;</li>
	<li>
		The applicant should have a good grasp of their area of study.&nbsp;</li>
	<li>
		Applicants need to know how to analyze and evaluate so they can put together new and complex ideas.&nbsp;</li>
	<li>
		The applicant should describe what their research will achieve and its importance to others.&nbsp;</li>
	<li>
		Both members and non-members of RSTMH are welcome to apply.</li>
