	What is the Taiwan Fellowship?</h2>
<p>
	The Taiwan Fellowship is provided by Taiwan&#39;s Ministry of Foreign Affairs for scholars, professors, and researchers from around the world who want to conduct advanced research about Taiwan. It covers topics like:</p>

		Taiwan&#39;s culture, history, and politics</li>
	<li>
		Relations between Taiwan and China</li>
	<li>
		Development in the Asia-Pacific region</li>

		Chinese studies</li>

	What Does the Fellowship Cover?</h2>

	The MOFA Taiwan Fellowship is fully supported and offers thorough support throughout your stay.</p>

		Monthly Research Grant:

				NT$60,000 (~USD $1,900) for senior scholars (Professors and Associate Professors).</li>
			<li>
				NT$50,000 (~USD $1,600) for Assistant Professors, Postdocs, and PhD students.</li>
		</ul>
	</li>
	<li>
		Travel Assistance: One round-trip economy airfare to Taiwan.</li>
	<li>
		Accident insurance coverage is up to NT$1,000,000.</li>
	<li>
		Medical coverage for accidental accidents of up to NT$50,000</li>
