	HEC Commonwealth Scholarship Eligibility Criteria</h2>

	Candidates who look forward to applying for the Commonwealth scholarship are informed that they must fulfil the eligibility criteria in order to avail themselves of scholarship. Moreover, candidates are informed that in addition to the guidelines of Higher Education Commission, candidates are required to meet the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission criteria as well. 			HEC commonwealth scholarship requirements</h3>

					Candidates must ensure that they are a permanent resident of Pakistan and dual nationals are not eligible to apply.
			</li>
			<li>
				
					Candidates must not have a second or third division in their last achieved degree.
			</li>
			<li>
				
					HEC criteria for commonwealth scholarship master, a first-class degree in relevant postgraduate qualification (16 years education).

					An applicant for a PhD fellowship must have a first-class postgraduate degree (17/ 18 years of education) in the relevant field.

					Candidates are required to provide proof that they are not eligible to study in the United Kingdom without this scholarship.

					Candidates are required to provide all the academic transcripts in addition to the currently studying certification or degree if any.

			<li>
				
					The commonwealth HEC scholarship does not provide funds for a second master&rsquo;s degree in the United Kingdom, candidates are required to provide justification if they look forward to a second master&rsquo;s degree in the United Kingdom.
