The Fulbright Scholar Program presents an exceptional opportunity for Pakistani scholars to embark on an <a href="https://www.studyabroad.pk/guides/study-in-usa" target="_blank">excellent educational journey to the USA</a>. USEFP is offering Fulbright Scholar Program 2024. Due to this fully funded scholarship, selected Pakistani scholars can take part in lectureships, conduct post-doctoral research, or a combination of both, for up to 12 months in top USA universities. Selected individuals are entrusted with the task of sharing insights of Pakistani society and culture with students, peers, and local communities in the US. Upon their return to Pakistan, Fulbright scholars are poised to contribute significantly to the nation&#39;s development by sharing their enriching experiences from the US, with students, colleagues, and community groups in Pakistan.

	Fulbright Scholar Program 2024 Grant Benefits</h2>

	The grant encompasses a range of necessities, including coverage for airfare, an incidental research allowance, a living stipend, and comprehensive health insurance. Additionally, the program extends its support by funding only one accompanying dependent, acknowledging the significance of family connections. If a candidate brings more than one dependent, then they will be the scholar&rsquo;s responsibility. To facilitate a seamless transition, USEFP actively assists scholars with the visa application process, ensuring a comprehensive and hassle-free experience for those embarking on this enriching journey.

	Scholar Program Eligibility Criteria</h2>
<ul>

			Applicant must be a Pakistani citizen with strong academic background and should currently be living and working in Pakistan.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			All scholars, artists, and professionals can apply except for those from clinical medicine.&nbsp;
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Candidates having a PhD degree in their fields for at least 2 years can apply for the scholarship.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Applying candidates are required to have a strong command of written and spoken English.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Applicants need to submit a clear and thoughtful proposal for their goals in the U.S. and how it links to their work in Pakistan. The proposal is one of the most crucial parts of the application.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Candidates also have to submit a reference letter from someone who knows the candidate&rsquo;s reputation in the field and his character extensively. 	<li>
		
			To apply for this scholarship, an applicant must have at least two invitation letters from the US Universities, and they can be submitted either at the time of applying or after been shortlisted for the grant.

			Those applying for lectureships should have proven teaching skills in a university setting.

	Fulbright Scholar Program Application Process:</h2>
<ul>
	<li>
		
			All the Candidates are required to apply online for the Fulbright scholarship. Only applications received by mail will be entertained.&nbsp;
	</li>
	<li>
		
			First of all, candidates have to register themselves for the&nbsp;<a href="https://applications.usefp.org/programs/fulbrightscholar/app/" target="_blank">USEFP application portal</a>.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			New candidates will press the &ldquo;Start a New Application&rdquo; button.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Then on next page, candidates have to provide their Email and CNIC number and press the submit button.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Then candidates will receive a mail with their login ID and password.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Log in to your application portal and start filling out the application for the &ldquo;Fulbright Scholar Program 2024&rdquo;
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Provide all the requested information and upload the required documents in pdf format.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Also submit the Reference letter according to the given instructions. Applications without reference letter will not be entertained.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			You can save your application progress in the middle and continue again whenever you want, but it is advised to complete the application form and submit it way before the deadline.
	</li>

<h2>
	Fulbright Scholar Program Ineligibility</h2>
<ul>
	<li>
		
			Individuals who hold dual nationalities of Pakistan and the United States, as well as those who have a spouse, parent, sibling, or child over the age of 18 who is permanent resident of the United States are ineligible to apply.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Employees of the USAID, Fulbright organization and the U.S. Department of State, as well as their spouses, children, fianc&eacute;s, siblings, and parents cannot apply for this program.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Individuals who is already working, residing, or studying in America or any country are ineligible to apply.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Pakistani candidates travelled to America for research or any other long-term educational opportunities in last 5 years are also ineligible.
	</li>
</ul>
<h2>
	Fulbright Scholar Program Selection</h2>

	As we told you earlier, the length of this fully funded program is 12 months and The USEFP will only select 15 candidates in total for the academic year 2024. Out of 15, 13 slots are for faculty member and researcher who are in their early stage of research careers (2 &ndash; 7 years), and 2 slots are for the senior scholars who have 8 to 15 year experience. The program will start in the fall next year (2024).
