The Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship program (2023-24) is accepting online applications for the scholarships. The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan is encouraging students to have this opportunity to study at top Hungarian Universities.

	Pakistani students can apply now and start their studies in September 2023. The last date to submit an online application is 16th January 2023. The Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program was launched by the Hungarian Government and HEC is acting as an active selector for Pakistani students.

	Pakistani students can submit online applications on both websites; Tempus Public Foundation online application and HEC online application.

	Types Of Scholarships:</h2>

	Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program is the initiation of Hungarian Government and offering the following scholarships for Pakistani Students:

			Bachelor&rsquo;s
	</li>
	<li>
		
			One-Tier Master&rsquo;s
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Master&rsquo;s
	</li>
	<li>
		
			PhD
	</li>
</ul>
<h2>
	Scholarship Program Requirements</h2>
<ul>
	<li>
		
			The candidate must be a Pakistani or AJK Citizen.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Minimum HSSC or inter qualification for bachelor&rsquo;s and (One-Tier) master&rsquo;s programs and applicant&rsquo;s age must be between 18-22 years.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Minimum undergraduate qualification for master&rsquo;s programs and applicant&rsquo;s age must not exceed 35 years.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Minimum master&rsquo;s/18 Years of education for PhD programs and applicant&rsquo;s age must not exceed 40 years till the deadline of submission.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			2 pages of &ldquo;Motivation Letter&rdquo; for bachelor&rsquo;s and master&rsquo;s programs and 2 pages of &ldquo;Research Plan&rdquo; for PhD programs.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			All applications must be submitted online.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Language proficiency proof (depends on hosting university requirements. Usually, Minimal English requirements are IELTS: 5.0 &ndash; 6.0, TOEFL: 70 - 90)
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Students may be required to submit additional attested documents after the acceptance offer.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Scholarship holders in full-time foreign language bachelor&rsquo;s, one-tier master&rsquo;s and master&rsquo;s courses are required to attend Hungarian as a foreign language for the first year of their studies.
	</li>

<h2>
	Admission Process For Hungary Scholarships&nbsp;</h2>
<ul>
	<li>
		
			Applications are required to be submitted online, applications in hard copies are not acceptable. Applications must be submitted at both; HEC and Tempus Public Foundation application portals.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			At the portal, fill in the accurate details and provide requested scanned documents.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Pakistani students have to choose English in the &ldquo;Language Proficiency&rdquo; section and submit the scanned copy of the English language certificate.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			While submitting the application, also attach the scanned copy of the deposited fee challan. Candidates have to pay a Rs. 500 (non-refundable) application processing fee online or in any branch of Habib Bank Ltd. Pakistan.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			All the applications and documents must be submitted before the deadline; 16th January 2023 till 2 PM (Central European Time).&nbsp;
	</li>
</ul>

	Financial Benefits &amp; Coverage of Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarships&nbsp;</h2>
<ul>
	<li>
		
			Exemption from paying the tuition fee.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Contribution of HUF 43,700/- to the living expenses of Bachelor&rsquo;s and Master&rsquo;s students till the completion of the education programs. (Bachelor&rsquo;s and master&rsquo;s students have to study Hungarian as a foreign language and have to pass the language test otherwise, the monthly stipend will be reduced to HUF 30,000/-)
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Contribution of HUF 140,000/- to the living expenses of PhD students in the first 4 semesters and HUF 180,000/- in the last 4 semesters.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			Medical or Health Care insurance according to the relevant Hungarian legislation.
	</li>
	<li>
		
			The Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship is paying for your tuition fee contributing in your living expenses in Hungary, it doesn&rsquo;t mean that monthly stipend will fully cover your living cost.
	</li>
