Description
<p style="text-align: justify;"> The<a href="https://www.studyabroad.pk/test-preparation/sat/" target="_blank"> Scholastic Aptitude Test</a> is a test that determines the intelligence and ability of an individual. The test has been introduced and is owned by a not-for-profit organization in the United States. Since its inception in 1926, the test has seen several changes in its name, assessment, and criteria. The test is widely used to attain college admissions in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and different other foreign colleges that support the Scholastic Aptitude Test. The test consists of three sections: evidence-based reading, math, and writing. There is an optional section of Essay writing that is required by only some colleges. </p> <h2 style="text-align: justify;"> Types Of SAT</h2> <p style="text-align: justify;"> There are two types of Scholastic Aptitude Tests: SAT-1 and SAT-2 described in the table below.</p> <table border="1" cellpadding="1" cellspacing="1" style="width:500px;"> <tbody> <tr> <td> <strong>SAT-I</strong></td> <td> <strong>SAT-II</strong></td> </tr> <tr> <td> Test the academic skills of the participant achieved in high school</td> <td> SAT-II is subject test that currently offers more than 20 subjects</td> </tr> <tr> <td> 3 hours and 50 minutes</td> <td> Mostly 1 hour test</td> </tr> <tr> <td> Multiple choice Questions</td> <td> Multiple choice Questions</td> </tr> <tr> <td> No penalty</td> <td> Penalty for wrong answers</td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <h2 style="text-align: justify;"> SAT Registration/ Fee for Pakistani Students</h2> <p style="text-align: justify;"> Students who want to attain an undergraduate degree abroad are required to take the SAT exam.
