	Research Grant Council (RGC) is an organization established an annual based fellowship scheme for PhD international students in Hong Kong since 2009. The main aim of this council is to attract the international students with an excellent education score who want to start their PhD from Hong Kong.&nbsp;

	Who Are Eligible For Hong Kong PhD Fellowship?&nbsp;</h2>

	Applicants who want to pursue PhD on scholarship from Hong Kong have to fulfil the following criteria&nbsp;

			Must be a new enrolled PhD student at Hong Kong&rsquo;s university&nbsp;

			Strong research background&nbsp;

	Application Process For Hong Kong Fellowship Scheme</h2>

	Applicants who fulfill the above mentioned eligibility criteria can go for application and have to follow the described steps

			Go to the Hong Kong PhD fellowship scheme electronic system to obtain a reference number
	</li>
	<li style="text-align: justify;">
		
			Make and submit an initial application at RGC &nbsp;
	</li>
	<li style="text-align: justify;">
		
			Submit another application to the selected university
	</li>
	<li style="text-align: justify;">
		
			Applicants can choose two study programs in two different universities and should meet the admission terms decided by the university
	</li>
	<li style="text-align: justify;">
		
			Applications will be open form 1st of September 2022, so candidates should submit their applications as soon as possible to ensure their admission to the university on time. &nbsp;
