<p> Studying abroad during these troubled financial times has become a major burden on low income and middle class families today.Brown University is offering various <strong>brown university <a href="https://www.studyabroad.pk/scholarships/united-states" target="_blank"><span style="color:#ff8c00;">scholarships for international students</span></a></strong> looking to study in the US .</p> <p> Due to strengthened performance of Brown University endowment and success of fundraising campaign BrownTogether. President Christina H.Paxson sent letter to Brown community for announcing university plans to</p> <ul> <li> <p> Significantly increase scholarship towards modest income students</p> </li> <li> <p> Reduce summer earning target toward high need students</p> </li> <li> <p> Initiate program towards development of talented students from various public schools in Providence for their college</p> </li> </ul> <p> New financial aid program, <strong><a href="https://www.studyabroad.pk/universities/brown-university" target="_blank"><span style="color:#ff8c00;">Brow University</span></a></strong> will cover families earning $125,000 or less. The program will also be covering all expenses tuition, board, room, books and other expenses for supporting families having less than $60,000 income a year.</p> <p> Major Financial aid investments will help to lower education costs for middle class families; reducing barriers for talented students to apply towards <strong>brown university undergraduate programs</strong>.</p> <p> Paxson expressed that BrownTogether’s initiative success and Brown University’s endowment provide opportunities towards providing attraction towards best students greatly increasing <strong>brown university international students percentage.</strong>”</p> <p> </p> <h2> <strong>Need Blind Students Program</strong></h2> <p> Need blind for international students program in the coming years will increase Brown University to attract and educate brilliant international students. Need aware policy in place for international undergraduate student’s admission decisions.</p> <p> Provost Rickhard M.Locke stated “International student admission toward University under need blind policy will have positive impacts for the Universities of the world. Providing new opportunities for students to gain learning from experience international peers. Provided talented people to gain Brown education and serve nationally and globally”.</p> <p> </p> <h2> <strong>Brown University financial aid initiative highlights </strong></h2> <ol> <li> <h3> Increase finance aid scholarship for middle income students</h3> </li> </ol> <p> Starting with students enrolled in 2022-23 academic year; calculation toward how much family contribution is required for child education will change. Family home equity to be eliminated increasing student scholarship aid. University cover full tuition towards family earing $125,000 or less. </p> <p> Elimination home equity will increase diversity pool. Lowering contribution from family will allow to enroll and recruit more middle income background students making Brown affordable for all.</p> <p> Brown to reduce summer earnings towards high need students having no parent contribution by $1000 to $1700 for first year and $1900 towers other enrolled students. <strong>Brown university scholarships for international students</strong> will also cover room, board, books for student family making $60,000 or less.</p> <ol> <li value="2"> <h3> Need blind admission program for international students</h3> </li> </ol> <p> Brown University to become need blind for international students starting from fall 2025 academic calendar joining group of five university and colleges nationally supporting need blind for international students.</p> <p> The cost will be covered through Brown University’s endowment and fundraising effort. Brown University wants to raise $120 million endowment to support need blind international admission programs having four year period.</p> <ol> <li value="3"> <h3> College preparation program toward Public schools in Providence</h3> </li> </ol> <p> </p> <p> Rhode Island state wants to achieve goal 70% local population have college degree by the year 2025. College initiation program for cohort of public school students in Providence that can be extended to other parts.</p> <p> </p> <h2> <strong>Ongoing commitment towards education for access </strong></h2> <p> Paxson express that the University wants to facilitate bright students to afford <strong>brown university undergraduate programs</strong> without giving thought towards their financial background. We are lucky to have strong financial ability and opportunity to support cultivation of future leaders”</p>
